Party Round Raises $7M in Funding

-

Party Round, a US startup that builds fundraising tools for founders, raised $7M in funding.

The round was led by Andreesen Horowitz and Andreessen Horowitz Cultural Leadership Fund, with participation from Seven Seven Six, Abstract Ventures, and Shrug Capital, as well as angels Packy McCormick, Austin Rief, Emilie Choi and Nik Sharma.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO Jordi Hays, Party Round is building a software platform that eases the process of raising early-stage corporate capital. The tool enables founders to automate the raising process (from open to close), send docs, collect signatures,  and receive funds.

It is a remote-first company but frequently spend time IRL in California and New York. Party Round currently has a team of 10 people.
