Nirvana, a NYC-based mental healthcare payments platform, raised $7.5M in funding.
The round was led by Inspired Capital with participation from existing investors Eniac Ventures, RTP Seed, and Arc Ventures.
The company, which has raised nearly $12M in funding to date, intends to use the funds to expand its engineering, customer success, and sales teams and bring its technology to more therapists and enterprises across the country.
Launched in 2020 by Akshay Venkitasubramanian, CEO, Nirvana Health offers a practice management platform for mental health professionals, enabling clinicians across the country to manage their back-office. The company’s platform:
- streamlines insurance workflows for enterprise and solo practices by offering integrations into top mental healthcare insurers,
- unifies financial management for practices, and
- allows them to build experiences for their end-patients.
