Gamma, a San Francisco, CA-based productivity suite building a replacement for slide decks, launched with $7M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Accel, with participation from Eric Yuan, Jeff Weiner, Script Capital, South Park Commons, LocalGlobe, Afore and Hustle Fund, as well as founders at Airtable, Patreon, Segment, Honey and Optimizely.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out the team and the product.
Co-founded in November 2021 by Grant Lee, James Fox and Jon Noronha, Gamma provides a platform that allows users to build stacks of cards fitting a brand’s aesthetic and combine content such as words, visuals and videos.
The company launched in private beta in August 2021.
