The Mom Project, a Chicago IL-based platform for moms to discover their economic potential, raised $80M in Series C funding.
The round was led by Leeds Illuminate. Additional participants include existing investors 7GC, Initialized Capital, OCA Ventures, Citi, High Alpha and Grotech Ventures alongside Silicon Valley Bank.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate adoption among moms and invest in product development, distribution, and team growth.
Led by Allison Robinson, founder and CEO, The Mom Project provides a platform for moms to discover their economic potential and find success on their own terms. It currently serves over 500,000 moms and 3,000 companies through its suite of hiring, education and retention solutions, which aim to solve pressing labor shortages while also addressing longer-term concerns around attrition, skill gaps and the need for greater diversity and empathy in the workplace.
