Spudsy Closes $3.3M in Series A Funding


Spudsy, a Los Angeles, CA-based brand that upcycles imperfect sweet potatoes and turns them into plant-based, snacks, closed a $3.3M Series A funding.

The round, which brought total amount of funding for the brand to $6.5m, was led by KarpReilly and Stage 1 Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to to develop its sales and marketing strategies and build out its DTC channel and reach new customers.

Created in 2018 by Southern California based Ashley Rogers, Spudsy makes plant-based snacks such as Sweet Potato Puffs and Sweet Potato Fries.
