SeaLights Raises $30M in Series B Funding

SeaLights, a Dallas, TX-based developer of Software Quality Governance platform, raised $30m in Series B funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $50m, was led by Red Dot Capital Partners with the participation of Deutsche Bank, Translink Capital, and Shasta Ventures, as well as existing investors Blumberg Capital, Cisco Investments, TLV Partners and Wipro Ventures. As part of this round, Barak Salomon and Atad Peled of Red Dot Capital Partners will join the board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach while continuing the development and release of new features and products to address software quality risks.

Led by CEO Eran Sher, and CTO Alon Eizenman, SeaLights Software provides a Quality Governance platform for teams to deliver software changes. Powered by advanced Machine Learning, the cloud-based solution provides customers with full visibility into every potential quality risk associated with their software changes in real-time, enabling them to make fast data-driven release decisions. The platform protects the integrity of production and ensures that quality risks are mitigated as early as possible in the process.
