Assembly Raises $1.75M in Seed Funding

Assembly, an Austin TX-based virtual experience and subscription startup, raised $1.75M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Wilshire Lane Partners and Acrew Capital, with participation from scout Chris Altchek of Lightspeed Venture Partners. Additionally, Adam Demuyakor of Wilshire Lane Partners will be joining Assembly’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its logistical capabilities, grow the team, and further enhance the customer experience.

Co-founded by William Ball and Philip Speer, Assembly is a virtual events company that allows companies to connect in new and engaging ways while navigating a remote environment. A roster of chefs and mixologists curate meal and drink kits that ship directly to the home and can be shared virtually with team members near and far.
