ZeroPoint Technologies, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based company focused on memory compression available, raised €2.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Nordic VC Industrifonden.
The company intends to use the funds to grow their customer base in North America and Asia Pacific, develop new products, and expand its engineering team in Sweden.
Founded by Professor Per Stenström and Angelos Arelakis PhD and led by CEO Klas Moreau, ZeroPoint Technologies provides a real-time Memory Compression IP block for System on Chip processor subsystems, such as servers, smart mobiles, and embedded systems, which doubles a computer’s main memory capacity and memory bandwidth giving access to more performance per watt. The IP block is placed on the memory access path and is invisible to the operating system and applications.
The company, a spinout from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, works with industry leaders on product implementation projects and technical evaluations.
