GoKwik Raises $5.5M in Pre-Series A Funding

GoKwik, a New Delhi, India-based e-commerce enablement company, raised $5.5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Matrix Partners with participation from RTP Global and angels including Jiten Gupta (Jupiter Money), Nitin Gupta (UniClub), Utsav Somani (AngelList), Amit Lakhotia (ParkPlus), Pradeep P (Uber SE Asia Head), Manish Vij (Smile Group), Asish Mohapatra (OfBusiness), Arjun Vaidya (Dr Vaidya), Ramakant Sharma (LivSpace), Siddharth Puri (Tyroo), Umang Kumar (CarDekho), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com) and others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand internationally, with launches in the MENA and SEA markets planned, hiring more talent to hasten product innovation, with both tech and product teams set to double in size.

Led by Chirag Taneja, CEO, Vivek Bajpai, CTO, and Ankush Talwar, Chief Data Scientist, GoKwik provides an e-commerce enablement company which focuses on boosting conversion rates across the e-commerce funnel. It uses AI/ML technologies to solve problems like RTO and CoD conversion rates and provides checkout and UPI solutions, which aim to improve conversion rates ensuring higher GMV realization and reduced marketing CAC.

Many leading D2C brands like boAt, Mamaearth, The Man Company, Heads Up For Tails, ManMatters, The Moms Co., OZiva, TCNS Clothing Co. (W, Aurelia and Wishful), LimeRoad, and more are already leveraging GoKwik’s solutions.
