folk, a Paris, France-based extended relationships manager (xRM) for centralising, organising and activating contacts, raised $3.3M in seed funding.

The round was led by Accel and 35 operator angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its team and continue developing and launching the first version of the product.

Founded in 2020 by Thibaud Elziere, Jean-Yves Poilleux, and Simo Lemhandez within eFounders, folk provides a collaborative platform for teams to manage and activate contacts for both individuals and businesses.

The startup is pioneering a new product category called xRM to give individuals and teams a tool for streamlining their workflows. Target customers include contact-centric teams such as HR, operations, marketing and sales using the likes of Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.

The company’s team has 13 employees.
