Drift, a Boston, MA-based Conversational Commerce company, received an investment from Vista Equity Partners.
The amount of the deal – expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021 – was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to invest in its customers’ success while expanding its product leadership, scaling globally and bringing Conversational Commerce to more B2B businesses.
Led by Elias Torres (CTO) and David Cancel (CEO), Drift combines Conversational Marketing and Conversational Sales into a single B2B platform, which integrates chat, email, video and artificial intelligence (AI) for conversations between buyers and sellers.
The company has 50,000 customers.
