Book Salon, a Helsinki, Finland-based payment and booking service provider specializing in hair, beauty, and wellness companies, closed a €1M funding round.
The round was led by Big Bets VC, with participation from Sontek Ventures and business angel Lennu Keinänen.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its operations, and prepare for further growth in Europe.
Founded in 2016 and led by Harri Myllylä, CEO, and Jonne Castrén, COO, Book Salon provides entrepreneurs with a full suite of modern tools to run their business. Book Salon offers payment terminals and a payment processing service, in addition to its website builder, online booking systems, and cash and accounting reports.
The company has over 800 salons in its client portfolio.
