Sayata Labs, a Boston MA-based company marketplace for insurance brokers and carriers, raised $17M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Team8 Capital and Vertex Ventures with participation from Elron, Kamet and OurCrowd.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
Led by CEO Asaf Lifshitz, Sayata Labs provides a platform that streamlines the quote-bind-issue process allowing insurance professionals to place more insurance policies in less time. The company provides an end-to-end technological solution along with educational tools, giving partners the ability to grow their book quickly and efficiently.
Since launching its platform in February 2020, Sayata has seen growth, doubling gross written premium every quarter to date, with millions of dollars in monthly premiums already. To date, over 1,000 users across 75 brokerages and carriers partner with the company.
