Prieto Battery, Inc., a Fort Collins, Colo.-based developer of solid-state advanced rechargeable batteries, closed on the first tranche of its $5.7m Series C financing.
The round was led by Pilatus Capital, with participation from existing investors including Stanley Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its proprietary 3D solid-state rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
