Fable Secures CAD$3.4M in Seed Funding

Fable, a Canadian sustainably produced direct to consumer brand of tablewares, completed a CAD$3.4m in seed funding.

The round was led by True alongside Sandpiper VC and Mavan Capital. A group of over 30 investors participated in the round including Techstars and the founders of Mejuri.

The company intends to use the funds for international expansion and new product development across several key business verticals.

Founded in 2019 by Joe Parenteau, CEO, Fable is an innovative direct-to-consumer brand that is creating minimal, elegant and sustainably designed products for the home. Designed in Vancouver and crafted in Portugal, the collection includes ceramic dinnerware and flatware with an upcoming expansion into glassware and more categories to follow.

Fable is currently pending B Corporation certification.
