Catch Raises $12M in Series A Funding

Catch

Catch, a NYC-based portable benefits platform for independent workers, raised $12M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Crosslink Capital, with participation from existing investors Khosla Ventures, Kindred Ventures, Nyca Partners, and Urban Innovation Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate a newly announced partnership program and product development, expanding their offerings into independent disability insurance and intelligently automated health savings account (HSA).

Led by founder and CTO/CPO Andrew Ambrosino and co-founder and CEO Kristen Anderson, Catch provides a platform to automatically take care of tax withholding, retirement investment, health and dental insurance, and more. In the app, freelancers and contractors can track and trace thousands of income sources to create a personalized payroll system and truly portable benefits.

The Y-Combinator startup had raised an $8M Seed round in 2019.
