Accenture (NYSE: ACN) acquired Lexta, a Berlin, Germany-based consulting firm specialized in IT benchmarking and IT sourcing advisory.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Lexta brings a proven track record in technology consulting services helping clients select the right solutions and vendors for their IT strategy. Headquartered in Berlin with additional offices in Düsseldorf, London, and Zurich, Lexta’s team of more than 60 professionals joined Accenture’s Technology Strategy & Advisory group.
Founded in 2003 by Frank Baumann, managing partner, Lexta supports clients with insights on the IT provider market, offering detailed analysis and market comparisons of the quality, scope, processes and efficiency of both vendors and IT departments. Its benchmarking and advisory services, especially for cloud, platform and application technologies, enable clients to make informed decisions.
The firm works with clients across industries including utilities, logistics and manufacturing.
