RealSleep, a Los Angeles, CA-based company offering natural sleep products, raised $2.2M in seed funding.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, accelerate growth and its business reach.
Headed by CEO Ashley Levine, alongside Co-Founders Billy Gallagher and Michael Kamins, RealSleep provides a clinically-tested, cannabinoid-based product that allows users to personalize their formula, combining other natural compounds with its proprietary core formula, to fit their individual sleep needs.
Users can opt for an individualized sleep formula, pairing the company’s proprietary core formula with other natural compounds to suit one’s personal sleep needs. The core formula features a proprietary blend of non-psychotropic cannabinoids to offer a natural, restorative sleep, including CBD, which helps with relaxation and anxiety relief, and CBN, a compound with sedative-like qualities that promotes sleep.
The company is guided by a scientific advisory board that includes the Head of UCLA Brain Research Institute Laboratory of Circadian and Sleep Medicine, Dr. Christopher S Colwell, and former advisor to the National Institute of Health (NIH) Dr. Michael Ropacki, among others.
