DevRev, a Palo Alto CA-based business software company focused on building an API-first dev-centric CRM, emerged from stealth mode, raising $50M in seed funding.

Backers included Mayfield Fund and Khosla Ventures and several industry veterans.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Launched by Dheeraj Pandey, Nutanix co-founder and former CEO and current board member at Adobe, and Manoj Agarwal, former Nutanix SVP of engineering, DevRev is building an API-first dev-centric CRM that leverages data, design, and machine intelligence to empower developers to build, support, and grow their business. Using the platform, the developer will be able to connect their code to production issues and customer interactions in a singular unified experience.

DevRev, which has already recruited more than 75 people, is remote-friendly and maintains purely digital operations, using social platforms to recruit talent, generate ideas, and build a community around its product. The company is building its team in Austin, Bangalore, Ljubljana (Slovenia), and the San Francisco Bay area.
