Vianai Systems, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based Human-Centered AI platform and products company, raised $140M in a Series B financing.
Backers included SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Jim Davidson (co-Founder of Silver Lake), Henry Kravis and George Roberts (co-founders of KKR), and Jerry Yang (founding partner of AME and co-founder of Yahoo! Inc.).
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the delivery of its AI platform and products to enterprises worldwide.
Led by Dr. Vishal Sikka, Founder and CEO, Vianai Systems delivers AI, ML and data science platforms and products to many of the largest and most respected businesses in the world to amplify the transformation potential within their organizations.
In addition to the funding, Dr. Fei-Fei Li (co-director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI) is joining Vianai’s advisory board.
