Rubicon Raises €450K in Funding

Rubicon, an Albanian fintech startup, raised €450K in funding.

Backers included Navy Yard Capital, APC Integrated and some angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion in the country.

Led by Dr Armand Brahaj, founder, Rubicon is a registered financial technology company engaged in providing financial solutions and the development of a payment processing network. The company leverages its proprietary technologies, intellectual property, innovative products and market intelligence to provide comprehensive and optimized financial solutions to its clients.

Rubicon will operate under the local trademark of Pago. On approval of its application, Pago will be licensed as an Electronic Money Institution by the Central Bank of Albania.
