Rest Less Secures £6.1M in Series A Funding Round

Rest Less, a London, UK-based provider of a digital platform for the over 50s, raised £6.1m in Series A funding.

The round was led by MTech Capital and Viola FinTech with further participation from existing investors, QED Investors and Octopus Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Viola FinTech Founder, Daniel Tsiddon, and MTech Capital Co-Founder, Kevin McLoughlin will join the board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds:

  • to further expand its services for its members,
  • to grow its member base further,
  • to expand its commercial partnerships and
  • to extend its Financial Services offering to its members.

Launched in early 2019 by Stuart Lewis, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Sara Stephens, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Rest Less is a digital community to help its members in their 50s, 60s and beyond get content guidance and resources on topics spanning Jobs and Careers, Volunteering, Learning, Money, Health and Lifestyle and Dating. 

Today, Rest Less’ member base has grown to more than 550,000 members in the UK with an average age in the mid-to-late 50s. 

In the last month, the company has also made a number of significant new hires including Lori Vokes as Chief Operating Officer and Andy Collings as General Manager.
