Osome Raises $16M in Series A Funding

Osome, a Singapore-based app that digitizes accounting and compliance services for SMEs, raised $16M in Series A funding.

Backers included Target Global, AltaIR Capital, Phystech Ventures, S16VC, and Peng T. Ong.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence internationally, as well as to accelerate product integrations.

Started in 2017 by three-time entrepreneurs, Victor Lysenko and Konstantin Lange, Osome provides online accounting services for SMEs, especially those involved in ecommerce — аccountants take over documents and convert them into actionable numbers, tax filings and reports, making accounting and bookkeeping service for online sellers simple.

The company also helps with business set up and provides corporate secretary services — Osome checks compliance, tracks deadlines, files documents, and answers questions in a chat at any time of the day or week. The platform categorises, tags, and stores any documents users send to them and then creates management reports, tax returns and does all necessary filing on time.

The company has over 6,000 customers in Singapore, Hong Kong and the UK and plans to launch more specific products and apps in the near future.

Currently Osome has 5 offices in Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong and other countries with over 250 employees of 15 nationalities in total.
