Naborforce, a Richmond, Va.-based company designed to connect aging adults to a network of trusted care providers for companionship and on-demand support, closed a $2m seed funding round.
The round was led by Claritas Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow its leadership team, and acquire key talent as it expands its geographic reach, develop additional technology features on its dynamic scheduling platform.
Led by Paige Wilson, CEO and founder, Naborforce leverages a proprietary tech platform to connect older adults and their family caregivers to a network of fully vetted community members for on-demand light assistance and social connection.
The company, which currently serves Richmond, Charlottesville, Raleigh, Wake County, Chapel Hill and Durham, aims to expand its operations to 6-10 additional markets around the U.S.
