EnMass Energy, a Durham NC-based provider of a digital procurement and operations platform for global waste-to-energy supply chains, raised $2.15M in funding.

The round was led by Blue Bear Capital, with participation from Looking Glass Capital, and Climate Cloud.

The company intends to use the funds to launch an online marketplace for waste to energy procurement.

Led by Andrew Joiner, founder and CEO, EnMass Energy leverages a network of local and international logistics and transportation partners to provide a waste-to-energy technology platform that connects waste suppliers with operators of energy projects, and solve for the entire supply chain, from supplier identification through transportation logistics and delivery audits, speeding up the process of converting usable waste products into new energy sources and saving time for enterprise clients.

EnMass also provides advisory services staffed by supply chain and energy experts with decades of experience in complex energy projects.
