Cognigy, a Düsseldorf, Germany-based provider of a Conversational AI platform for omnichannel Customer and Employee Service Automation, raised $44m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from DN Capital, Global Brain, Nordic Makers, Inventures and Digital Innovation and Growth. As part of the round, Insight Partners’ Managing Director Teddie Wardi will join Cognigy’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its global customer growth, create new partnerships, and continue to enhance its platform capabilities for companies to speed up enterprise-grade AI adoption.
Founded in 2016 by Philipp Heltewig, CEO, Cognigy provides a Conversational AI platform to support customer service automation. Its lowcode platform, Cognigy.AI, enables enterprises to automate contact centers for customer and
employee communications using intelligent voice- and chatbots. The company is available in SaaS and on-premise environments and supports conversations in any language and on any channel including phone, webchat, SMS and mobile apps.
Customers now include global brands such as Lufthansa, Mobily, BioNTech, Vueling Airlines, Bosch, and Daimler, among others.
