CloudNine, a Houston, TX-based provider of eDiscovery automation software simplifying litigation, investigations, and audits, closed a major funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Crest Rock Partners. In conjunction with the deal, Steve Johnson and Jeff Carnes, partners and co-founders of Crest Rock, will join the CloudNine Board of Directors.
The company will use this capital to deliver new product offerings and increase its headcount by more than 50 percent over the next three years.
Founded in 2002 and led by Tony Caputo, CEO, CloudNine provides customers with cloud-based or on-premise based eDiscovery automation products to reduce the overall costs of eDiscovery. Law firms, government agencies, legal service providers and corporations consolidate all of their data collection, processing, and review requirements by leveraging the company’s eDiscovery software.
