Accenture Federal Services to Buy Novetta

Accenture Federal Services, an Arlington, Va.-based wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture (NYSE: ACN), is to acquire Novetta, an advanced analytics company providing U.S. federal organizations with machine learning, cyber, and cloud engineering solutions.

The completion of the acquisition from global investment firm The Carlyle Group is subject to regulatory review and other customary closing conditions. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Novetta’s 1,300 employees — which include software developers, data scientists, and specialists in AI, machine learning, cyber, cloud, and information exploitation — will join Accenture Federal Services’ more than 10,500 employees.
