Vena, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of a complete planning platform, raised $300m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Vista Equity Partners with participation from JMI Equity and Centana Growth Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Kim Eaton, Managing Director and Marc Teillon, Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Vista’s Foundation Fund, joined Vena’s board of directors.
The company, which has raised over $450m to date, intends to use the funds to accelerate growth to new customers and markets.
Led by CEO Hunter Madeley, Vena provides a cloud-native planning platform platform that features an Excel interface within its Vena Growth Engine, the technology and methodology businesses use to streamline finance processes, connect teams, drive decision making and plan their activities.
