Streami Inc., a South Korean blockchain company, received a strategic investment from Digital Currency Group.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and its position as the most trusted digital asset platform in Korea.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Junhaeng Lee, Streami operates GOPAX, Korea’s leading crypto exchange. On GOPAX platform, the company offers GOFi, savings products that allow GOPAX users to earn interest on crypto assets.
The investment includes an exclusive regional partnership between Streami and Genesis, a large digital asset lender and a DCG subsidiary, to offer flexible and fixed-term savings products.
