Seven Senders, a Berlin, Germany-based delivery platform for parcel
shipping, raised a USD 40m series C financing round.
The round was led by Digital+ Partners, with participation from btov.
The company intends to use the funds for further technical expansion and the advancement of its internationalization strategy, including central service hubs to support the European business activities of Chinese and US online retailers.
Founded in 2015 by Johannes Plehn and Thomas Hagemann, Seven Senders is a platform which connects senders with its carrier network of more than 100 parcel delivery agents throughout Europe to offer local shipping. It features automated dispatch notifications and tracking and monitoring solutions, monthly reports and analysis that facilitate data-based optimization of international shipping performance.
