Rocket Doctor Inc., a Toronto, CA-based digital health marketplace, closed a $3.8m seed funding round.
The round was led by f7 Ventures and Dr. Irv Edwards with Emergent Medical Associates.
The company intends to use the funds to expand geographically, expand its direct-to-patient diagnostics program, and further develop its proprietary technology platform.
Founded in March 2020 by Dr. William Cherniak (CEO), Adam Teitelman, Harry Cherniak and Dr. Justin Losier, Rocket Doctor provides a digital health marketplace that enables physicians to bring an advanced doctors office directly to patients’ homes. Since launching to the public last June, the company has enabled more than 130 doctors to care for over 40,000 patients.
