NetAbstraction

NetAbstraction, a Chantilly VA-based network obfuscation company, raised $9m in Series A funding.

The round was led by AllegisCyber Capital. As part of the funding, cyber security luminary Dave DeWalt and Spencer Tall, both Managing Directors of AllegisCyber Capital, will join the NetAbstraction board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.

Led by newly appointed CEO Gordon Lawson, who succeeds founder Barbara Hunt, who remains Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, NetAbstraction is a provider of a cloud-based network obfuscation solution service that proactively prevents cyber attacks by disguising enterprise networks from detection. Its patented, carrier-grade cloud-based service obscures networks, communications, applications and data, and continuously varies network pathways across multiple providers.

The platform is used by Fortune 500 organizations globally.
