Immuta Raised $90M in Series D Funding

Immuta, a Boston MA-based provider of cloud data access control solutions, raised $90m in Series D funding.

Backers included Greenspring Associates, March Capital, NGP Capital, and Wipro Ventures, as well as existing investors Ten Eleven Ventures, Intel Capital, DFJ Growth, Dell Technologies Capital, Citi Ventures, and Okta Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product research and development, expand sales and marketing capacity to capture demand in the U.S., EMEA, and APAC, and deepen strategic partnerships within the cloud data ecosystem.

Led by CEO Matthew Carroll, Immuta provides cloud data access control solutions, giving data engineering and operations teams an universal platform to control access to analytical data sets in the cloud. Immuta can automate access control for any data, on any cloud service, across all compute infrastructure.

Its global base of customers include Aon, Credit Suisse, Daimler, Flatiron, IAG, S&P Global, and US Army.
