Gr4vy Raises $11.1M Series A Funding Round

Gr4vy, a San Mateo, Calif.-based cloud-native payments company, raised an $11.1M Series A funding round.

The round, which brought total funding to $12.2M, was led by Nyca Partners with participation from Activant Capital, Global Founders Capital, and Firestartr.

The company intends to use the funds to further support hiring initiatives, global growth and future product development.

Led by Founder and CEO John Lunn, Co-Founder and CTO Ali Minaei and Co-Founder and CPO Cristiano Betta, Gr4vy provides a payment orchestration platform (POP) that leverages cloud to modernize payments infrastructure.

Its no-code dashboard centralizes the integration and management of a retailer’s payment methods, providers, conditions and transactions and empowers them to do more in less time. The solution enables retailers to streamline and manage payment methods, services and transactions all in one place.
