Flume Health Raises $6M in Seed II Funding

Flume Health, a NYC-based health plan administration platform for the healthcare ecosystem, raised $6m in Seed II equity funding.

The round, which brought total raise to $10m, was led by new investor Crosslink Capital, with participation from new investors Route 66 Ventures and Convene CEO Ryan Simonetti and existing investors Accomplice, Founder Collective and Primary Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Launched in 2020 and led by Cedric Kovacs-Johnson, CEO and founder, Flume Health is a health plan administrator whose model allows self-insured employers and their workforces to unbundle their health plans and augment or replace legacy off-the-shelf plans with specialized providers who address specific populations with conditions such as MSK pain, diabetes, mental health and more.
