Artificial, a Palo Alto, CA-based software company providing a lab automation platform, closed a $21.5M Series A funding round.
The round was led by M12, with participation from Playground Global and AME Cloud Ventures. In conjunction with the round, Kouki Harasaki, PhD, M12, will be joining Peter Barrett, Founder and General Partner at Playground Global, on Artificial’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to:
- accelerate product development,
- expand their team, and
- further their life science partnerships.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach globally.
Co-founded by David Fuller, Chief Executive Officer, and Nikhita Singh, Chief Product Officer, Artificial provides a suite to orchestrate everything that happens in a lab to automate manual tasks and scale operations.
