Virta Health, a San Francisco, CA-based type 2 diabetes reversal company, raised $133m in financing.
The round was led by Tiger Global.
The company intends to use the funds for research and product innovation, and increase of demand for diabetes reversal from employers, health plans, and government.

The company reverses type 2 diabetes through innovations in technology, nutrition science, and continuous remote care from physicians and behavioral experts. Virta works with with over 100 organizations, including the largest health plans, employers, and government and treats patients in all 50 states.
