SwipeGuide Raises €5M in Funding

SwipeGuide, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands- and Chicago, IL-based B2B SaaS platform for for manufacturing companies, raised €5M ($6M) in funding.

The round was led by Speedinvest, CapitalT, Plug and Play Ventures, with participation from existing investors Newion and Brumbucks. Marie-Hélène Ametsreiter – lead partner of the Speedinvest Industrial Tech team, and Janneke Niessen, founding partner at CapitalT, are joining the board.

The company intends to use the funds to double its staff in 2021, accelerate its international expansion and digital transformation in factories worldwide.

Led by CEO Willemijn Schneyder, SwipeGuide provides a SaaS platform for manufacturing companies to crowdsource critical operational knowledge to improve performance across distributed teams. Top manufacturers like PepsiCo, Heineken, ABB, and Orkla use the solution to capture, standardize, scale and improve critical operational knowledge globally by allowing shop floor teams to digitize crucial instructions, operational routines and procedures with the unique apps. SwipeGuide is used in more than 200 plants in 89 countries worldwide, with more than 30,000 unique monthly users continuously improving operational performance.

The company, which has raised a total of €6.3M to date, employs 25 employees and is hiring 25 new employees by the end of 2021.
