Siemens Digital Industries Software Buys TimeSeries

Siemens Digital Industries Software is to acquire TimeSeries, an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Mendix partner.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Led by Erik Gouka, CEO, TimeSeries has expertise in the development of vertical apps for industries including manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, energy and banking and financial services, built on the Mendix™ low-code platform. TimeSeries has offices in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, and Canada.

The acquisition will help Siemens accelerate adoption of low-code and offer new apps including smart warehousing, predictive maintenance, energy management, remote inspections and more, to deliver better experiences to customers, employees, and suppliers.

The Mendix low-code platform is the cloud foundation for Siemens’ Xcelerator™ portfolio of integrated software and services. Siemens Digital Industries Software acquired Mendix in 2018.

Led by Tony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO, Siemens Digital Industries Software is a computer software company specializing in 3D & 2D Product Lifecycle Management software. The company is a business unit of Siemens, and is headquartered in Plano, Texas.
