HomeX, a Chicago, IL-based home services platform for homeowners and service providers, closed $90m in funding.
The round was led by New Mountain Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its services across North America.
Founded in 2017 by Michael Werner, CEO, HomeX delivers personalized physical and virtual solutions for homeowners, as well as software and services that enable contractors to drive and manage demand.
HomeX Remote Assist virtually connects homeowners with its licensed technicians to diagnose and repair common home issues via virtual, personalized solutions with expert guidance through video, call, or chat.
The HomeX suite of business solutions helps established, local service companies automate their booking, drive qualified demand, simplify their operations and improve their holistic customer experience.
