Holler, a NYC-based conversational media company, raised $36m in Series B funding.
The round was co-led by CityRock Venture Partners and New General Market Partners LLC with participation from Gaingels, Interplay Ventures, Relevance Ventures, Towerview Ventures, and WorldQuant Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its conversational media products.
Led by Travis Montaque, CEO and Founder, Holler provides a suggestion AI technology capable of accurately understanding context and nuance in messaging, leading to improved conversations. The technology is being adopted by major platform partners via Holler Kit 5, the company’s latest SDK. With Holler Kit 5, developers can bring engaging content and features such as GIFs, stickers and advanced Suggestion AI Technology into their platform – all with one integration.
In 2020, the company launched new conversational media campaigns on behalf of industry leaders including HBO Max, Orbit, and Vita Coco. Other users include AB InBev, Diageo, IKEA, Mars, Molson Coors, Starbucks.
