The company intends to use the funds to expand across North America, the UK & Europe.
Led by Ian Condry, Professor of Cultural Anthropology, MIT, and Gary Halliwell, Hearby.com is a live music discovery platform that combines Big Data and Anthropology to provide a comprehensive collections of local music listings. The company uses AI, data cleaning and social matching to yield data on shows across 100+ cities in North America and the UK, with expansion planned to European & global cities in 2021.
