Deliverect Raises $65M in Series C Funding

Deliverect, a Ghent, Belgium-based company that connects Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Doordash, Just Eat Takeaway.com and more delivery companies directly to restaurants’ POS system, raised $65m in Series C funding.

Backers included DST Global Partners and Redpoint Ventures, existing investors OMERS Ventures, Newion and Smartfin, as well as Deliverect’s founders.

The company will use the new capital to conduct further R&D and product development, solidify its position in the US and continue their international expansion.

Founded in September 2018 by Zhong Xu, CEO, Deliverect is a SaaS online food delivery management platform to manage digital orders, including delivery, take-out and in-house dining apps. The solution integrates online orders from food delivery channels (Uber Eats, Doordash, Just Eat Takeaway.com, etc.), allowing 10,000+ establishments to improve operational service and increase customer satisfaction. Operating in over 30 markets around the world, the platform is used by restaurant chains and FMCGs such as Taco Bell, Timeout Market, and Unilever, as well as small and midsize restaurants and dark kitchens around the world.

The company employs 200 people in Ghent, London, Madrid, Toronto, New York, Dubai, Paris, Edinburgh, Mexico City and Amersfoort (Netherlands).
