BigID Raises $30M in Additional Series D Funding Closed at 100M; Valued at $1.25 Billion

BigID, a NYC and Tel Aviv, Israel-based actionable data intelligence platform, raised $30M in additional Series D funding, which is now closed at 100M valuing the company at $1.25 Billion.

Advent International amde the investment through Advent Tech. Advent joined existing investors including Salesforce Ventures, Tiger Global Management, Glynn Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners and Boldstart Ventures. 

The company, which has now raised $200 million over four rounds since September 2019, intends to use the funds to expand globally, boost its go-to-market efforts to advance product development in the areas of data privacy, security, and governance.

Led by CEO and co-founder Dimitri Sirota, BigID is a leader in data discovery and intelligence for privacy, protection and perspective. The company’s platform combines machine learning-based classification, cataloging, correlation, and cluster analysis to allow companies to understand, protect, and derive value from their data.
