AfterShip Raises $66M in Series B Funding


AfterShip, a Hong Kong-based tracking platform for e-commerce businesses, raised $66m in Series B financing.

The round was led by Tiger Global with participation from Hillhouse Capital’s venture arm GL Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to increase international hiring, develop new e-commerce products, and continue US market penetration.    

Founded in 2012 by Teddy Chan, CEO, AfterShip provides shipping and tracking solutions for businesses ranging from home entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. Profitable since its launch, the company has grown to handle more than 6 billion shipments annually through more than 740 partner carriers without sales or marketing support. In addition to its shipment tracking platform, AfterShip features apps that service customers from the beginning through the end of their purchasing journey, including post-purchase engagement products (Returns Center and Postmen), Sales & Marketing solutions (Marketing, Dropshipping, Reviews, Shopping, and Traffic), and mobile apps (AfterShip mobile, All-in-One Shopping).
