Whereby, a Norwegian video meeting company, raised $12m in funding.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand its team and further develop products. 

Founded in 2013 and led by Øyvind Reed, CEO, Whereby provides a human-centric video meetings platform, which allows users to embed intuitive tools such as Google Docs, Trello and Miro directly in their meetings. Users choose their own personalized URL and meet over their browser – on mobile or desktop. Built-in features like screen and audio sharing, session recording, branded rooms and customisable room links allow users to get the most of their video meetings. The platform integrates with Miro, Trello and Google Docs.
