Sonar Raises $12M in Series A Funding

Sonar

Sonar, an Atlanta, GA-based Change Intelligence platform for operations, revenue, and systems teams, raised $12m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funds raised in the last 12 months to $15.7m, was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Slack, Valor EP, and Parade VC, and several angel investors including Kyle Porter (co-founder and CEO of SalesLoft).

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate customer acquisition and product functionality beyond Salesforce, with planned integrations coming for marketing automation this year.

Led by Brad Smith, co-founder and CEO, and Jack McGlinchey, co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Sonar gives operations and revenue teams the ability to execute changes to their technology stack. Sonar empowers ops leaders and systems admins with a searchable living data dictionary that automatically documents how their data is used, when it changes, and what’s broken. Teams gain the complete context they need to work together to drive change management every day. Users include Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies such as Pendo, Drift, Outreach, and more.
