Codecool

Codecool, an Hungarian programming school and IT Talent Hub operating in Central Europe, raised €7m in funding.

Backers included Integral Venture Partners and its earlier investors Lead Ventures and PortfoLion Capital Partners.

The company intends to use the funds for further expansion and product development.

Founded in 2014 and led by CEO József Boda, Codecool offers a new model for training IT specialists, through its 3 to 12-month courses. The company is continuously extending the range of its open courses. In addition to its full-stack course with a job guarantee, specialized 3 to 4-month online IT courses were added to the portfolio of the school last year. In line with the demands of the labour market, further training programs are under development. The programming school will open two new campuses in Central Europe this year while the target to be reached by 2025 is to open more than ten campuses with thousands of graduates a year and dozens of corporate training programs.
