ChurnZero, a Washington, DC-based Customer Success platform for subscription businesses, raised $25m in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $35m to date, was led by JMI Equity, with participation from returning investors Baird Capital and Grotech Ventures. Larry Contrella, General Partner at JMI Equity, joined ChurnZero’s board of directors in connection with the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in the Customer Success ecosystem, expanding the team, go-to-market programs, and deepening product development.
Led by You Mon Tsang, Co-founder and CEO, ChurnZero helps subscription businesses fight customer churn via software solutions that allow businesses to understand how their customers use their product, asses their health and their likelihood to renew, and give businesses the means to personalize the customer experience through relevant touchpoints.
ChurnZero integrates customer account data from multiple sources and enables Customer Success teams to be proactive in managing customer relationships and identifying renewal issues or upsell opportunities.
